Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos is expected to be fit for his
side's crunch Champions League semifinal, second leg against Juventus on
Wednesday after fears over a hip injury were allayed on Sunday.
The German World Cup winner had to be replaced midway through the first
half of Madrid's 2-2 draw with Valencia on Saturday which all but ended
their La Liga title hopes.
"Thank you for your kind messages! I've just been through the
examination. Dont worry. Let's focus on Wednesday," Kroos posted on his
official Twitter account.
Kroos's presence would be a huge boost to Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti as
his side try to turn around a 2-1 first-leg deficit with another
influential midfielder Luka Modric already sidelined by a knee ligament
injury.
